The Epsilon Pi chapter of Gamma Phi Beta was chartered in 1990 at George Mason University and recently celebrated its 27th anniversary on April 28.
Gamma Phi Beta Mission:
Gamma Phi Beta Philanthropic Focus:
Both Gamma Phi’s mission and philanthropic focus pair perfectly with GOTR’s mission:
"One of the first things that drew me to Gamma Phi Beta was their mission and philanthropic partnership with Girls on the Run,"
shares a Gamma Phi Beta member.
"I think Girls on the Run is a beautiful program that has helped thousands of girls garner confidence, build social skills, and help build a toolbox to successfully enter the next stage of their life. I think it’s amazing that there is this type of organization that inspires the highest type of womanhood and one that matches so well with Gamma Phi Beta’s mission and focuses."
Since 2012, the Epsilon Pi chapter of Gamma Phi Beta has been directly supporting Girls on the Run of Northern Virginia through:
-
Volunteering at GOTR NOVA events
-
Attending GOTR NOVA fundraisers
-
Organizing fundraising events (including Moonball)
Together, Gamma Phi Beta and Girls on the Run are making a tangible difference in the lives of girls across the region. Through fundraising efforts, volunteering, and advocacy, they’re helping to create a brighter, more empowered future for generations to come.
"I am proud to be a Gamma Phi Beta, and I love living out our mission to build strong girls with Girls on the Run,"
expresses another member.
The entire team at GOTR NOVA is filled with gratitude for the unwavering support we've received from the Gammas over the years. Whether it's their enthusiastic cheers at our 5K events or their infectious positivity on a rainy day of putt-putt, their presence has made a remarkable difference. Thank you for being steadfast allies in our mission. Here's to celebrating our partnership and looking forward to many more years of empowering girls together. Happy anniversary!
